SafeRoom does not operate an account system, advertising network or analytics platform. Scan results, Spaces, inspections and reports are processed and stored locally on your device.

SafeRoom is a travel privacy application developed by The Creative One Agency.

2. Personal information
SafeRoom does not require you to create a SafeRoom account and does not ask you to provide your name, email address, phone number or other personal profile information to use the app.
SafeRoom does not use advertising or behavioural tracking.
- No SafeRoom account is required.
- No advertising SDK is included.
- No location tracking is used.
- No scan data is uploaded to a SafeRoom server.
- No SafeRoom analytics profile is created about you.
3. Information stored on your device
SafeRoom creates information as you use its privacy and awareness features. This can include scan reports, observed devices and signals, saved Spaces, physical inspection results, personal-device records, notes, comparison information and Guard history.
This information is stored locally on your device and is used to provide SafeRoom features such as previous checks, comparisons, reports and Guard.
SafeRoom does not upload this information to a SafeRoom backend or account.
Removing the app may also remove locally stored SafeRoom data, subject to normal iOS device and backup behaviour.
4. Local network access
SafeRoom may request access to your local network so it can discover supported services and devices visible to your iPhone on the network you are currently using.
SafeRoom uses Apple's local-network technologies, including Bonjour where appropriate, to perform this discovery.
Local-network observations are processed on your device. SafeRoom does not send your scan information to an external SafeRoom server.
5. Bluetooth
SafeRoom may request Bluetooth access so it can observe nearby Bluetooth Low Energy advertising signals that are visible to your iPhone.
SafeRoom may use information made available by iOS such as device identifiers, advertised names, service information, manufacturer identifiers, signal-strength observations and related Bluetooth metadata to help interpret nearby devices and signals.
SafeRoom does not need to pair with or connect to nearby Bluetooth devices as part of its normal scanning process.
6. Device Intelligence
SafeRoom analyses available network and Bluetooth evidence on your device to help present observations in a form that is easier to understand.
This may include identifying likely device categories, recognising devices you have marked as your own, highlighting observations that may deserve review, and explaining the evidence available to SafeRoom.
Device Intelligence processing takes place locally on your device.
7. Spaces and previous checks
SafeRoom allows you to save places as Spaces so that checks performed in the same place can be associated with one another.
Space names, scan history and comparison information are stored locally on your device.
SafeRoom does not use GPS or location tracking to determine your Space.
8. Physical room checks
SafeRoom includes a guided physical inspection designed to help you check areas of an unfamiliar room that technology alone cannot assess.
Your inspection selections, notes and related report information are stored locally on your device.
9. Guard
If you choose to activate Guard, SafeRoom can remember expected observations for a Space and help identify meaningful changes during later checks.
Guard information, expected observations and Guard events are stored locally on your device.
When SafeRoom is in the background, iOS controls when background execution opportunities are available. SafeRoom does not claim or perform continuous unrestricted background monitoring.
10. Notifications
SafeRoom may ask for permission to send notifications when you explicitly activate features such as Guard.
Notifications are used to alert you to relevant SafeRoom events, such as a Guard finding that may deserve review.
Notification permission is optional and can be changed in iOS Settings.
11. Reports
SafeRoom can generate reports containing information from your checks and physical inspections.
